Stage One: The Art of Facilitation is a five-day practical, transformational learning experience for people who lead groups – including team leaders, project managers, trainers, coaches, consultants and community facilitators. Participants are introduced to the attitudes, personal qualities and presence that distinguishes ‘person-centred facilitation’ as it is grounded in place, space and grace.
The programme provides a whole person framework that includes both a philosophy and the Zenergy whole person methodology. You will develop the skills and ability to facilitate any group to meet its purpose.
Through supported practice, coaching and feedback, you will develop the confidence and capability to:
– create safe, purposeful and engaging group environments
– work constructively with differing behaviours, energy and conflict
– be more present to yourself, others and the group as a whole
– learn to choose interventions that respond to what the group needs in the moment — not simply what the agenda planned.
It is experiential and you will get to practise facilitating and receive supportive feedback from experienced programme leaders and fellow participants. Places are limited so that everyone has meaningful opportunities to practise, be coached and learn.
You do not need to be an experienced facilitator to attend. The programme is designed to meet participants where they are, while still offering depth for those with existing experience.
If you are ready to develop the skills to facilitate groups with greater presence, confidence and flexibility, register for the programme below.

Participant comments;
“…I feel as though some of the most valuable learnings are somehow integrated into my being already. Both trainers were excellent role models, especially in the very crucial aspect of allowing the group intelligence to emerge. The programme has been inspiring and I’ve got much more than I bargained for. I’m really excited to apply some of the insights & learnings from the programme.” Barney Rivers, Environment Waikato, Hamilton
“I liked that it was not a ‘sit down and listen to me’ training programme, it was totally interactive and not a lecturer-student relationship.” Graham van Gilst
“What was the most value to me was the self-discovery that gave me the opportunity to learn about myself and see that I can improve on.” Filipe R. Naivaukula
